• Park fees, camping fees, tourism development levy and any other conservation fees if applicable

Child policy

• All children stay at their parents’ own risk
• We have no nanny services available
• There are age restrictions on walking safaris and certain activities
• Children 6 years and older are welcome
• Children between 6 – 11 years: 50% of per person sharing rate when sharing with parents in a family tent
• 12 years & older sharing with parents in a family tent: 3rd/4th person rate applicable

• All reservations require a 20% deposit upon booking confirmation, to be paid within 7 days
• Final payment is due 45 days prior to your arrival
• All requests, confirmations and cancellations are only valid if in writing. Please ensure that you receive acknowledgment of your cancellation from our Reservations Department. The cancellation fee is a percentage of the full accommodation amount
• For reservations within 45 days of arrival, full payment is required upon confirmation
• Failure to pay on time may result in automatic cancellation of a booking with cancellation penalties payable to us and any third
  party as per their terms and conditions
• There is a 3% surcharge for any credit card payments

Cancellation Policy

• All cancellations must be made in writing to

• Up to 61 days prior to arrival: 20% cancellation fee
• 31 to 60 days prior to arrival: 50% cancellation fee
• 15 to 30 days prior to arrival: 75% cancellation fee
• 14 days prior to arrival: 90% cancellation fee
• All cancellation fees are calculated on the total booking value.
• Please note that 100% cancellation fees will be charged if guests
  decide to depart early while staying with us
• Additional fees may apply for cancellation of airline tickets, park
  and concession fees and other 3rd party services, which will be
  advised promptly after receipt of the written cancellation
• In the event that clients, for whatever reason, fail to join the safari or join it after the confirmed departure date, no refund can be made for the days/nights missed. It is the agent’s responsibility to ensure that all clients traveling with us obtain full
  travel insurance is valid from the date of confirmation of the safari including cover against cancellation charges
• For any cancellation of bookings a credit note of 18% (VAT) will be issued which can be utilized against future bookings with a
  maximum validity of 12 months (1 year)
• Any Credit notes are valid for 12 months from the date and time of issue. If you have not used it within 12 months, the balance will
  be cancelled.

Check-in and Check-out

Check-in is from 14:00.

You are welcome to arrive earlier, and make use of our swimming pool or other facilities.

We try to accommodate early arrivals, subject to room availability. Unfortunately this cannot be guaranteed, if the room was occupied on the previous night.

Check-out

Check-out is prior to 10:00 on the day of departure.

Again, we try to accommodate late check-outs, subject to room availability. Unfortunately this cannot be guaranteed, if the room is booked for the evening. If we are unable to accommodate a late check-out, we will happily store your luggage whilst you enjoy our facilities.

Lunch

The Full Board & Activity/Game drive price includes lunch (served from 1pm to 2.30pm) either on the day of arrival or on departure.

If you wish to have lunch on both arrival and departure days, there will be an extra charge for the second lunch.

• Child (6 to 15 years) – $11.80 per person per day

Park fees / Concession fees will be added to invoices for prepayment.
For guests transferring to or from Ndutu airstrip or doing an activity
in Ndutu, the Ndutu Concession Fees will be payable. Please contact
reservations for these fees.

Prices are subject to change. In the event of any price increases in government-imposed taxes, fuel prices, hotel charges and taxes, tourism levies, 3rd party supplier price increase or introduction of any new taxes of levies of any nature, Simbavati reserves the right to pass the increases on to clients.
